2026 District 24 C Fall Conference

Lions of District 24 C will be back in Roanoke, VA for our Fall Conference October 16th and 17th, 2026 at the Valleyview Holiday Inn on Ordway Drive in Roanoke, VA.  This year's conference theme is "Service Lights Our Way"
District Governor Babs Newman is inviting you to join us at District 24-C’s Fall Conference Lighting the Path to Service , Friday October 16 and Saturday October 17. We will explore the difference Lions are making in our communities, discover new opportunities to serve, and develop skills to help our Clubs become stronger and more  successful.

On Friday evening join us for a Dessert Buffet and our World-renowned Auction.  Bring your sweet tooth and your checkbook for a fun filled night of friends and fellowship.

Saturday starts with professional development opportunities, followed by exploring the needs in our
own communities through some of our focus areas. Here we will also discuss how we can expand our
service to help meet these needs.

We will spend time with our visiting International Director Melissa Washburn and be empowered by her luncheon presentation.  After Lunch we will gather together to discuss our District's needs and participate in our service project - helping our neighbors prepare for disasters.  We’ll close with dinner and time together.

Throughout the day the exhibit area will be open and there will be time for seeing Lions who are old  friends, and meeting new Lions. Be sure to make a point to look for the “Lion Den Sale”

A request:
Our World-renowned auctions are only a success when we have lots of wonderful items for you to bid
on. We are asking for each Club to send in at least one item or a gift basket for us to auction
off. Items can be dropped off with Lion Tammie at 501 Elm (please call first to be sure she is in -
540-342-5466), brought before 6:00 PM to the Convention, sent with another Club, or contact your
zone chair to arrange for your item to be picked up.  We will also accept donations to help offset the cost of the conference.

What makes a good auction item: bushel baskets of potatoes, quarts of homemade pickles, like new
Lion clothing, and of course gift baskets. We love it when you use your imaginations.

Finally a Special Favor
Many of us have lots of wonderful Lions Paraphenalia at home, and often it is just too much.
Please bring that “too much” Lion goodness to the Conference for our “ Lion Den/Yard Sale,”
This will give it a new loving home and help keep it from finding its way to the landfill, for at
least a little while longer. (Please be sure everything is clean and worthy of being shared with
another Lion.)

I look forward to seeing all of you during our Fall Conference.  Please use the links below for our registration and our conference schedule
